Collaboration
Two estimators, one set, in step with each other
A bid is a team sport that usually runs on email: a screenshot of a door, a question about a sheet, a note that an addendum landed. Here the people, the page they are on and the questions about it live in the set itself, so a comment about door 102 stays on door 102.

How it works
-
01
See who is here
Everyone in the project shows as an avatar in the header and on the page rail, with the page they are looking at. Nobody is shown when you are alone.
-
02
Watch the pointer, or follow it
A colleague's pointer moves live in their colour over the drawing, in the markup editor and in the PDF pane of the door, hardware and finish tabs, and in the editor you see what they have selected. Click their avatar and your view follows them to their file, page, scroll and zoom; Escape, or a second click, lets go.
-
03
Pin a question to the page
A comment can sit on a point of a sheet, or on a markup or region. Reply, resolve or reopen it, mention a teammate with @, and assign a thread to one of them.
-
04
Know what is waiting on you
The header inbox counts the threads that mention or are assigned to you, and the project dashboard lists what is waiting. The Activity drawer is the history of the project: who added, edited, removed or restored markups, who commented, resolved or assigned a thread, and what the floor plan pass found, newest first.
-
05
Put the drawing on a second screen
Pop the drawing out to its own window. The sheet and the drawing stay in step, so one monitor holds the grid and the other the plan.
-
06
Bring your team in
Create a workspace for your shop, then invite people with a link from the settings screen. Everyone in the shop can open the shop's projects.
What it does
- Live where it counts, calm elsewhere
- Pointers and page changes are pushed over a websocket. Comments, the inbox and the activity feed refresh by polling, so a dropped connection costs seconds, not work.
- Comments that stay attached
- Threads pin to a page point, a markup or a region of the sheet, so the note is still next to the door a month later.
- A history of who changed what
- A burst of edits reads as one line, such as "Sam changed 12 markups on plan_set.pdf", and each line opens the sheet and page it happened on. The log keeps counts and ids, not a copy of your content.
Common questions
Is this real-time like a shared document?
Partly. Pointers and the page a colleague is on arrive live. Comments, the inbox and the activity feed refresh every few seconds by polling, which is why a comment can take a moment to appear.
Can I limit a project to some people?
Not yet. Everyone in your organization can open every project, and roles do not restrict that. Keep a project out of a shop's workspace by keeping it out of that workspace.
Can a client or a subcontractor comment?
Only if they have an account in your organization. There are no guest links.
Can I see who changed what?
Yes. Open Activity from the header. Edits are grouped by person and time, and each entry takes you to the sheet it happened on. It records that a change happened and who made it, not the old and new values.
What does follow mode do?
It moves your view to the file and page a colleague is on, and mirrors their scroll and zoom whenever they move theirs. Between their moves you may look elsewhere, and you can stop at any time.
More of the workspace
- Schedules Door schedule Every door on the set, one row per mark, with hardware and finish hanging off the same row.
- Schedules Hardware sets A hardware set breaks into items, each one matched to a catalog part, priced, and chosen.
- Schedules Room finishes Finish codes read from the specification, one record per code, tied to the doors that carry them.
