A table out of a PDF, without opening a project
Sometimes the table you need is not a door schedule inside a project -- it is one table, in one PDF, and opening a project for it is the wrong amount of ceremony. Draw a box around it and get a grid back. No account required.

How it works
-
01
Upload a PDF, or pick one you already have
A new file, or a PDF already attached to one of your projects -- either way you land in a split view: the PDF on one side, the grid on the other.
-
02
Draw a box around the table
One rectangle or several, on one page or across many.
-
03
Extract
Auto reads a table drawn with lines as a table and falls back to an AI read of the text inside the box when there is none; Smart reads the box with AI directly.
-
04
Edit, ask, download
Fix a cell by hand, or ask the assistant beside the grid to rename a column, drop one, or restructure the table -- then download it as Excel, CSV, or PDF, or copy it as tab-separated text.
What it does
- No project needed
- A session is self-contained. Nothing is written back to a project, even one you opened the PDF from -- the tool says so.
- An assistant that can edit the grid
- Ask it to rename a column, replace values, or reorganise the table, and undo brings back exactly what it changed.
- Two extraction modes
- Auto and Smart -- a structured read for a table drawn with lines, an AI read for one that is not.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Uploading a PDF and extracting a table needs nothing but the file. Signing in only matters if you want to pick a PDF already in one of your projects, or keep your sessions.
Does this change my project's door schedule?
No, even if you started from a PDF that is attached to a project. A Data extract session is entirely separate and is never written back.
What if the table does not extract cleanly?
Try a different mode, draw a tighter or looser box, or ask the assistant to fix specific columns after the fact -- the grid is editable either way.
