Schedules
Hardware, from a set on the schedule to a priced, chosen product
A hardware set on the door schedule -- "HW-04" -- is four or five words until something turns it into products you can buy and a price you can bid. Each set breaks into its items, and each item moves through the same four states, visible at a glance rather than buried in a cell note.

-
01
Read from the schedule
Hardware set tables are extracted from the spec book, or the door schedule's hardware column is matched against it directly.
-
02
Linked to a product
Each item in a set is structured into a product: model number, manufacturer, finish, specifications.
-
03
Priced
Six vendor sites are checked for a price, with an AI web search as a fallback when none of them has the part. A manual price can always be entered instead.
-
04
Selected
One price per product is marked primary. Changing it updates every door that references the set, and says so before you confirm.
What it does
- Four states, not a wall of text
- unlinked, linked, price found, price selected -- a chip shows which one a set is in without opening it.
- A price finder for the parts you cannot match
- Qualified Hardware, Trudoor, National Lock Supply, B&H Depot, Epivots and CS Hardware are checked in order; an AI web search runs when none of them has it.
- One export, priced
- The hardware catalogue exports as a PDF or Excel takeoff, one line per product at its chosen price -- part of the estimating package alongside the door and finish schedules.
Common questions
What does each chip state mean?
Unlinked: read from the schedule, not yet matched to a product. Linked: matched, no price. Price found: at least one price exists, none chosen. Price selected: a primary price is set and carried into the estimate.
Where do the prices come from?
Six vendor sites are checked automatically, with an AI web search as a fallback. You can also enter a price by hand at any time, and a manual entry is never overwritten by a later automatic search.
Does choosing a price change more than one row?
Yes, on purpose. A primary price applies to every door referencing that hardware set, and the app tells you that before you confirm the change.
