A set that has read itself before you open it
The first job on a 200-sheet set is working out which pages matter. Here the set is classified as it is indexed, on the same machine, so the floor plans and schedules are marked before you open the file, and the page a person would have to hunt for is one search away.

SAMPLE DATAHow it works
-
01
Upload the set
Each page is read for its text and its vector drawing, and given a type: floor plan, elevation, section, detail, schedule, site plan, cover, notes, specification, ceiling plan, structural, MEP or other.
-
02
Read what the sheet says about itself
Sheet number, title, discipline, the stated scale and the level are read off the page where they are legible, and shown on the page and in the page list.
-
03
Pages with no text get a second look
A small image model that runs locally classifies pages that carry no readable text, such as a scan. Nothing is sent to a third party for this.
-
04
Find the schedule on the page
Ruled tables are located and outlined for you. "Review doors" opens the file with the candidate boxes already drawn as selections you can move, resize or delete.
-
05
Correct it once
Change a page's type from the page menu. A correction always beats the classifier from then on, and is kept as training data for the local model.
-
06
Search the whole set
The command palette searches the text of every indexed page, and jumps to a sheet, a markup or an action. Search is across the set, not the page you happen to have open.
What it does
- Local first
- Rules on the text and the vector drawing decide most pages for free. The image model runs on the same machine. A multimodal model is not called for every page.
- Needs a look, not quietly dropped
- A page it could not read is put in front of you rather than skipped, so a scanned addendum does not vanish.
- A palette for the whole set
- One shortcut goes to any project, sheet, markup, tool or action, and Document text mode searches what the drawings say.
Common questions
Does my drawing set leave the machine to be classified?
No. Classification runs locally: rules first, then a small image model for pages with no text. The assistant is separate; it is the only part that calls a language model.
What if it labels a page wrongly?
Correct it from the page menu. Your correction wins from then on.
Does it work on scanned drawings?
A scanned page can be classified by the image model, viewed, marked up and measured. Its schedule cannot be extracted, because that needs selectable text.
More of the workspace
- Schedules Door schedule Every door on the set, one row per mark, with hardware and finish hanging off the same row.
- Schedules Hardware sets A hardware set breaks into items, each one matched to a catalog part, priced, and chosen.
- Schedules Room finishes Finish codes read from the specification, one record per code, tied to the doors that carry them.
